DARK WHORSE - BRENNAN KELLY
Residing in Vancouver, Canada, Brennan Kelly is the second artist this round of zines we've ended up working with following a slot on THE PAPER & THE PAPER FM through our little sister space, Good Press. We just had to invite him back for more. Here over 16 pages, he blows you away in his trademark styling, but with a few twists. Working largely in abstraction and form, this zine comes over more dense and like the title suggest, dark. The textural elements are the game changers here though, with large panels of blacks and dark greys, washes of mist, deep pencil movements. Its a good one!
